What is a cabinet builder game?

A cabinet builder is a game about putting a government together. 195-0 World Draft is one you can play in your browser: you draft five people, assign each to one of the five cabinet seats, and run an absurd conquest simulation to see how far the whole thing gets.

The people come from a country and a category, and each appointment changes what the cabinet can do. A Politician makes an obvious President, while a Pop Star might be the real star of the Propaganda seat. Nothing is a serious prediction, and nothing is off the table.

How to build your cabinet

    Roll a Situation

    Each round draws a category and a country. That pairing sets what kind of candidate to expect and the context for the decision.

    Review Six Candidates

    Six candidates appear together. Consider the category, the country, and the jobs you still have to fill before you commit.

  3. 03

    Assign Their Role

    Confirm one person, then give them one of the open cabinet seats. The appointment is permanent for the run.

  4. 04

    Run the Conquest

    After five appointments, send the team into the field. You get a score, an outcome, and a short account of what that cabinet did.

How a cabinet is scored

The score is capped at 195. It combines several small decisions, so no single great appointment can fix every weak one.

  1. 01Every cabinet starts at 30 points.
  2. 02Role fit adds 0–100: each category has a weight per role; fit = (weight − min) / (max − min).
  3. 03Combo bonuses: +11 for a top-tier category match, +8 for second tier.
  4. 04Alliance bonus: +4 with two countries, +8 with three or more.
  5. 05No-authority penalty: ×0.65 if the cabinet has zero Politicians, Dictators, or Military Commanders.
  6. 06Joke pick penalties: Poets/Porn Stars in General −14, in Treasurer −10.
  7. 07Battlefield variance: +0–20 random each simulation.
  8. 08Final score clamped to 0–195.
